On October 29th, the Taicang Alps Resort created by Fosun Tourism Group officially opened its doors to welcome guests. The resort is located in Taicang, Suzhou, adjacent to Taicangnan Railway Station and Shanghai Jiading District, and is only a one-hour drive from the center of Shanghai. It includes six major themed experience areas: the Alps Ski Park, Alps Ice and Snow Park, Club Med Urban Oasis Taicang Resort, Alps Time, Alps Camp, and Alps Cosmos, aiming to provide an international, high-quality, immersive one-stop urban vacation experience.
Early on the opening day, the resort already welcomed many enthusiastic visitors waiting to experience. Among the visitors, there were locals from Taicang, as well as many from Shanghai and other cities of the Yangtze Delta. Numerous family visitors expressed that they not only enjoy skiing but also the ice and snow scenes here, where the children were very happy. At the same time, professional skiing enthusiasts mentioned that compared to other indoor ski resorts in the Yangtze Delta, the location of the Alps Snow Live is more convenient, and they can easily come here to enjoy skiing on weekends.
The Alps Ski Park and the Alps Ice and Snow Park, two major themed experience areas, are located within the Alps Snow Live. The Alps Snow Live has a total construction area of 91,000 square meters, jointly created by Taicang Alps Resort and the world's largest ski resort operator — Compagnie des Alpes (abbreviated as CDA), not only highly replicating the Alpine scenes in design concept and content experience, but also aligning with international standards in product quality and professionalism.
The Alps Ski Park is equipped with five slopes of varying slopes, the longest of which reaches 280 meters, seven magic carpets running simultaneously, and professional skiing instructors, meeting the needs of skiers of different abilities and age groups, enjoying a rich ice and snow experience throughout the four seasons. The Alps Ice and Snow Park includes more than ten snow entertainment activities, including snow mountain crossing, ice palace exploration, penguin interaction, and the original performance " Aurora Dream," allowing even non-skiers to fully feel the charm of ice and snow.
The Club Med Urban Oasis Taicang Resort is Club Med's second urban resort globally following the Nanjing Xianlin Resort, and will welcome its first batch of guests on November 10th. The resort, inspired by a "snow mountain journey," resonates with the alpine ice and snow theme in room design, gourmet dining experiences, helping guests to enjoy the leisure and comfort of the Alps vacation besides skiing.
The resort also adheres to Club Med's "premium all-inclusive" vacation concept, with the G.O (Gentle Organizer) acting as the DNA and creator of happiness of Club Med. The brand-new Mini Club provides childcare services for family guests, freeing the hands of parents while also providing a secure and comprehensive vacation experience for the children.
Alps Time highly replicates Alpine architecture, villages, forests, rivers, and other cultural and natural landscapes, aggregating themed entertainment, gourmet entertainment, party fashion, business leisure, and other diverse consumption scenes, including several exotic restaurants, frontline ski equipment brand stores, and large-scale art exhibitions.
On the same day, the Alps Cosmos welcomed its first exhibition — the immersive art exhibition themed "Salvador Dali | Paul Cézanne Alps Story." The exhibition includes three major chapters: "Paul Cézanne Four Seasons", "Dreaming Dali," and "AI Dali." Through cutting-edge high-definition scanning technology, CG light and shadow special effects technology, and high-definition projection display technology, coupled with the ice and snow-themed interactive exhibition hall, it brings a multidimensional, immersive, and distinctly different sensory feast compared to traditional art museum exhibitions to the audience.
