Fosun Tourism signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sanya municipal government in Sanya

On 13 April 2020, Shanghai-based Fosun Tourism Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sanya municipal government in Sanya. Both parties have reached consensuses on Fosun Tourism’s participation in “Sanya Headquarters Economy Construction”, an initiation of joint marketing and etc. in the future, with the agreement details including:

• Fosun Tourism Group will discuss with the Sanya municipal government about setting up of regional headquarters of Shanghai Fosun Tourism Management Co., Ltd. and proactively preparing for the establishment of Fosun Tourism’s Sanya office in Sanya.

• Leveraged on the advantages of Fosun Tourism, joint marketing activities will be launched during major festivals to announce the recovery of tourism industry in Sanya, Hainan and welcome tourists around the world.

• A 100-person collective wedding ceremony will be jointly held at Atlantis Sanya on 20 May. 100 couples of anti-Covid-19 heroes will be invited to Atlantis Sanya to hold a collective wedding ceremony, thankful to their contribution to fighting COVID-19 as the front-line health workers.

• Both parties to jointly explore outbound tourism markets by leveraging on the globalization advantage of Fosun Tourism.

Fosun Tourism Group also reached an agreement with the Sanya municipal government on further establishment of “Sanya FOLIDAY Town”, an upgraded version of Atlantis Sanya, and will increase its investment in Sanya in the future. “Sanya FOLIDAY Town” will leverage on the existing advantage of Atlantis Sanya’s successful operation, to build up a brand-new metropolitan castle by a more diversified means.
